Edgeryders is a community-driven not-for-profit research institute providing expert advice and community engagement based on collective intelligence, as a service to corporate and governmental organisations. It develops and deploys community-building tools and cutting-edge research techniques to detect, aggregate and analyse citizen innovation in response to key societal, economic, ecological and political challenges.
EDGE is leading WP2 which focuses on citizen usage of participation interfaces since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic with its main asset being the online forum. It uses ethnographic methods to study the lived experience of non/participation from the point of view of its protagonists, thus complementing the quantitative (WP3) and phenomenological (WP6) approaches in other work packages. In WP2, we hear the voices of the people that were part of that action and study the culture that led to it.
